American Pet Spa and American Pet Spa & Resort Policies and Conditions

You're pet's safety and well-breing is our #1 priority. We require all vaccinations must be current and administered 5 days prior to arrival. Our staffs are dedicated to your pet's safety and well being. The following are guidelines we recommend and rules we require:

For all services: $30 fee for all returned checks.

Boarding:

Your pet's safety is our top priority. In order to keep them safe while boarding with us, we have incorporated some policies. The following are requirements for boarding:

1. All pets who are visiting with us are required to have all of their vaccinations current. Proof of the pet's vaccinations must be provided by a veterinarian's office or by faxing them to American Pet Spa or supplied by our customers on their veterinarian's letterhead. Required vaccinations include:

  • Parvo
  • Bordetella
  • Rabies
  • Distemper
  • Corona for all dogs under 2 years of age (Corona vaccine is not required above the age of 2 years but most veterinarians highly recommend it.)

2. In order to keep our facilities and all of our pet guests free of external parasites, we will examine your pet. If any parasites are found we will dip and bathe your pet. Owners are responsible for these charges.

3. We will administer medications in a pill form and will follow your specific directions. Please make sure you have enough of them for your pet's stay. We are not a veterinarian office and will not administer any medication in the form of an injection.

4. Personal items are allowed for your pet. We suggest that you put your pet's first and last name on them. We will do our best to keep them in the same condition but we cannot guarantee it.

5. You can drop off or pick up your pet at any time during business hours. We are closed on the following holidays and we do not provide pick-up or drop-off:
Thanksgiving (Thursday), Memorial Day (Monday), Christmas Day 12-25, New Years Day 1-1, Easter Day (Sunday), July 4th, and Labor Day (Monday). We close at 12:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve 12-24 and New Years Eve 12-31. A $25 deposit is required for holiday reservations. This deposit is non-refundable.

You are charged for the day of drop off, without exception. Pets are to be picked up by 10:00 a.m. (Sundays between 12:00 p.m. noon and 1:00 p.m.). Pets not picked up before the stated check out time will be charged for their departing day.

6. A copy of your drivers card will be required for your first visit.

7. There is a $25 non-refundable deposit for cancelled boarding reservations.
